ABOUT US

Founded in October 2020, Contempl’Art is an organisation of students from Sorbonne University. 

Coming from various backgrounds in human sciences or art, we are willing to promote, encourage artistic creation in the Balkans, and allow better visibility in this direction. 

From this initiative was born the photographic exhibition project "Les Balkannes", which offers a time for reflection around the different representations of women as they are expressed by emerging artists from the Balkans. 

Planned for April 2021, this exhibition aims to broaden the cultural horizon of the French public while being part of an activist approach.
